Make a Card for Your State/Tribute to Tampa
The challenge at Speedy Fox and Friends at MFP (here) is to make a card that reflects your state. My first attempt to capture the essence of Florida brought several things to mind--tourism, Mickey Land, beaches, gators, manatees, and Gasparilla since I am from Tampa. Yes, I am a native Floridian, and there are very few of us in this state. There was just too much for a card. My final product is a tribute to my hometown in Florida--Tampa. This is state fair month and the Jose Gaspar pirate ship came in and took over the town of Tampa. Check out the Gasparilla website at http://www.gasparillapiratefest.com/ It is quite an event!

Cute design Kren. Robin lives in Tampa now.
This is lovely, Kren, and perfect for Florida! That sailing ship reminds me of early settlers and pirates. :-D
I love how this card represents your state of FL with those gorgeous palm trees and the sailboat, The white silhouettes on the blue background look so pretty!
