Merry Christmas Eve and Thank You, Bobby Flay

After many years of a Christmas Eve tradition of Cuban pork marinated in mojo and chopped onions, green peppers, and garlic with black beans and rice and all the fixings, it was time for a change.

We broke with tradition and instead feasted on Bobby Flay's Shrimp and Grits.  Yum!  Thanks, Bobby Flay and Food Network!

The handcrafted Santas are up on the mantle and entertainment center and the trees are in all the bedrooms decorated to the hilt so we are ready for Santa and his reindeer to visit tonight.

There will be no baking this year thanks to a holiday cruise and the scary number on the scale, LOL.

A very
Merry, Merry, and a
Happy Ho, Ho, Ho
to you and yours
this wonderful holiday season!
