Hello, Friends.
Lets' make a list of six things in our gratitude journal.
Nothing is too big or too small to appreciate.
For me?  This moment?
Subtle changes of leaf color on our mountain.
The colors are different in every light
and bring me joy.

Twofer Tuesday Holly Branch

Hello, Friends. Happy Twofer Tuesday.  Kren here sharing two projects using Cheapo Dies.  Today I am using Holly Branch.

The first card uses die embossing with an embossing mat to create the design and uses red, green, and white plaid papers.

The second card uses some familiar metallic designer papers and card stocks from recent posts but intertwines the Holly Branch dies to create a focal point.

Here are the Tuesday Tips for creating these projects.  Choosing similar shapes and metallic elements for papers and dies creates cohesion in the project.  Cutting several die cuts allows you to move them around on your project to find a pleasing layout and focal point.  Repetition of all the colors in a plaid creates unity.

See you next Tuesday!

Blue Footed

Hello, Friends!  Don and I travel and my souvenir from each trip is a stamp set that reminds me of the location or experiences of the trip.  We just returned from the Galapagos Islands and I loved seeing the Blue Footed Boobies so I just had to have this set from Impressions Expressions designed by Dina Kowal.

I've been busy all day making cards using the image and sentiments to send to new friends made on our trip.  Here's one:

It's an overcast day so you can't see the white glitter paper used for one of the layers.  I cut several layers of the IO hello die and used white glitter paper for the top layer of the sentiment.  The bird is painted with Twinkling H2O's to create more shine and shimmer.

I will enter my project in these challenges:

Twofer Tuesday with Forest and Vellum

Hello, Friends. Happy Tuesday.  It's Kren here sharing another project for Twofer Tuesday using a new arrival, Forest, to create two cards.  I used vellum in several ways and now I have two more holiday cards to add to my stash.
Here are my cards.

Here are the Tuesday Tips for creating this project.  Dry embossing vellum creates interesting patterns for overlays.  Then more vellum, floating or across the card to add the sentiments.  Stagger your dies to create a shadow effect.

See you next Tuesday!

Fall Fence

Hello, Friends!
It's time for a Crafty Creations Challenges .
I'm putting on my DT hat and
it's anything goes and today the sponsor we are featuring is
Bugaboo Stamps  called Fall Fence.

Here is a project to inspire you to join us.

I love this owl perched on an old fence with pumpkins and sunflowers.
All my favorite fall things!  I used Copic, Studio 71, and Chameleon alcohol markers.
I die cut the image using a torn edge frame die and mounted it on some dp from my stash.
A sentiment die finished it off.

Join us at the Crafty Creations Challenges this week!

Night Shadow

Hello, Friends!   It’s time for the PIP Challenge and today I am using an image from Ching-Chou Kuik called Night Shadow Grayscale.

I dry brushed peach-colored and white acrylic paint  onto card stock to create the card blank.  This is the first time I have colored a grayscale image and it was fun to do!  I colored the image with Copic, Chameleon, and Studio 71 alcohol markers and fussy cut it out, mounting it on a black linen textured background.

Join us this week for always anything goes!
