Yesterday you saw this card because the Chuck Paper Doll is behind the hunting outfit and today I would like to explain how I created the card.  I printed off digi camouflage paper from Doodle Pantry for the strips and a large piece for Chuck's hunting outfit.  I dry brushed gesso on the larger piece of camouflage paper because I wanted the black outline to be emphasized and then heat embossed Chuck's outfit with black embossing powder.   I colored in his boots.   Same gessoed paper and heat embossing for the sentiment.  The frame around Chuck was dry embossed with a crackle embossing folder.

Have you ever dry brushed gesso on vibrant card stock or paper to tone it down a bit?  

It creates such an interesting effect.  Try it!
