Do You See What I See?

Hello, Friends!
Here is a Christmas in Florida card.
Floridians love Christmas but with palm trees instead of fir trees
and beach sand or grass instead of snow,
we have to use our imaginations to get into the holiday spirit.

Today is my day to feature my projects on the JFF Stamps Blog!
I am showcasing Christmas in July cards with the images
Hammock in the Palms and Dasher, and Favorite Spot by JFF Stamps.
The stormy sky reminds me a night beach scenes on the gulf in Florida.

Hop on over to the JFF Stamps Blog
for more information about our challenge this month.
Be sure to add shimmer, glitter, or shine to your project.

Hammock in Palms, Dasher

This second card is a little more traditional
because the leaves are of the trees
which wouldn't be the case in Florida.
I love that the cat seems to be watching Santa's sleigh
in the moonlight.

Well, I see I missed a few posts while I was off on my travels but you've done a great job with all of them, Kren! I love the first Christmas card here but you know the one with the kitty watching Santa is the one which really grabs my heart. :-D Love how you did the full moon.

Such lovely cards - I know what you mean about the weather. Here in Greece it can be hot and sunny on Christmas day so I find it difficult to get in the spirit too :-D
Thank you for coming to play at IKEsWORLD CHALLENGES :-D

Both are wonderful cards, Kren! It's refreshing, actually, to see a Christmas card with something other than the traditional snow and fir trees, especially considering that they really only happen at Christmas in a small section of the world! As a California girl, palm trees and sand is much closer to what we get at Christmas, too -- ha ha! I am just finally getting back in the groove of cardmaking and Blogland visiting, and I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work. Hope that you and hubby are both well and enjoying the summer. Hugs!

I love your "Christmas in Florida" card being a Floridian myself. It's difficult to find images that don't include mounds of snow. The window cat is a wonderful card also.

Thank you for playing at IKE's WORLD CHALLENGES :-} Good Luck!

Wonderful inking on this creation. We are so blessed that you joined our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. We have a new Challenge going on and we hope you can link with us again. Leaving you with the inspiration of God’s Word in Jeremiah 32:17 which says, “‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.”

God bless,
