 Hello, friends.  It’s kReN@afourthlife and it’s time to share a project using Fairy Hugs Stamps from fairystamper.com.  This summer has seen an amazing display of lightning bugs or fireflies.  We are blessed to live in a mountainous area without street lights so we see these wonderful creatures often in the summer.  There is so much to appreciate in the dark if you just allow yourself to enjoy it.  I used FHS-065  Fireflies, FHS-112  Dotted Mushrooms, FHS-113 Whimsical Flower Cluster and FHS-183 Seed Pods to create the scene.  Just a bit of shimmer around the fireflies so they can cast their magical glow.

I created a blended background using stains and heat embossed the images one at a time.  Adding each image to a different side of the stamp positioning tool makes it easy to see how the scene will layer.  I silver sprayed some card stock and die cut the sentiment and used the rest for the card blank.  Then it was just a matter of sponging some shimmer paint around the fireflies.
