I had an OMG moment today.
I wanted to purchase an iPad Mini 5 because my 4's battery is quirky and I am always "on the cord." Found a great sale online and took the plunge, but I was actually dreading its arrival because I had just been jumping through the hoops to set up a new MacBook Pro 13" for travel. My, oh my, Big Sur is quite different from Mojave.
So the iPad Mini 5 arrives today and I plug it in to make sure it is charged, and I get a "Hello" screen and we are off and running through set up. I really wasn't ready.
Now, here's the unbelievable bonus.
It says, put your iPhone next to the iPad Mini 5 for setting up. I see a swirly, almost witches-cauldron-kind-of-circle, and a circle on my iPhone. It tells me to align the swirly smoke image with the circle, and we are off and running again with set up.
Amazing.
In no time, I AM SYNCHED BEYOND BELIEF! And painlessly!
All I can say is, financial advisor buy more Apple stock!! There is hope for the aging baby boomer generation.
