Snail Family Selfie

Hello, friends!  It's kReN@afourthlife and I will be featuring Fairy Hugs Stamps and products from fairystamper.com.  Today I am using an image the Snail Family.

As soon as I saw this FHS-075  Snail Family set, I knew it would come to live in my workroom.  This card reminds me of ice cream sherbet colors.

For this project, I cut a “polaroid-type frame” out of glossy paper and mounted it on designer paper.  I stamped the snail tower and added a die cut sentiment.  This will go out to my sister-in-law who now has 4 children, 17 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.  No kidding.  Maybe I should have made a tall slimline card.

See you next Friday afternoon.  kReN

Shine In the Stars

Hello, friends.  It’s kReN@afourthlife and if it’s Friday afternoon, I'm featuring Fairy Hugs Stamps and products from fairystamper.com.  Ginko and Kinsie are in the stars today.

After heat embossing the figures I scribbled several colors of Prismacolor Pencils and applied Gamsol to smooth the edges a bit.  I used a die cut to create a star trail around the figures and added a silver sentiment.

See you next Friday afternoon.  kReN
