What flower are you? Hydrangea?

I have many friends whose favorite flower is the hydrangea.  Somewhere online there are quizzes that tell you what flower you are based on your answers.  Your personality is revealed by how you react to situations presented. Then they tell you what flower you are based on those personality traits.

I love daisies best, but hydrangeas can be pink or shades of blue and lavender depending on the soil content and that they make such a statement when bunched in a large vase.  So today, I chose a set called Hydrangea and a sentiment from the Tiger Lily set for my Speedy Fox and Friends card.  The theme is "stamped background."  This set comes with some smaller hydrangea flowers that I stamped onto an acrylic-block-with-ink background we tried a few weeks ago.  It was so much fun, I had to use it again for this card.

This is the first time I have used this set and I love it.  The main image is popped up and embossed in blue EP,  and colored with Twinkling H20's and chalked in the centers, with a blue embossed sentiment so that this card really shines.

My hydrangea bushes will not bloom this year but we are just happy they survived the last winter.  This stamp set will have to take the place of those huge blooms I usually put into a vase to enjoy.
Join me at these challenges.

I'm traveling again this week so my visits may be spotty for several days but I had to find a minute to tell you how much I love this card! Gorgeous background and I'm loving the dimension on the main flower. I, too, am a hydrangea lover and miss my really huge bush left behind at my previous home. :-(

Lovely card, I didn't know the hydrangeas colour depends on their soil! Thanks for that :) Thanks also for joining us this month over at Craft for the Craic.
