White on White

Every so often, it is fun to make an all white card.  For the Speedy Fox and Friends blog challenge this week, that is our task--use only white.  If you are viewing a card in person, all white heat embossing on vellum that is also dry embossed is a stunning effect.  For photos, however, you need a touch of color and so I heat embossed the sentiment in black.  I used two sets from the MFP Stamp Shop-- Medallion and the sentiment and branch from Pears.  I've been baking pony beads to use for embellishments so five of those are on the card as well.  Bling just didn't seem appropriate and the pearls I had in my stash didn't seem large enough.  Plus, pony beads shine and I liked that effect with the white glossy embossing.

Won't you join us for the Speedy Fox and Friends challenges on Saturdays?  We'd love to see the projects you create!

I love white on white, Kren, but only when other people do it. I have no success with it, ever. Yours is magnificent! Love how that embossed medallian worked on vellum. You've inspired me to try again.

I never thought to emboss on vellum. I always thought it would melt. It looks fabulous though. I'll have to go try it. Your card is beautiful.
