Reading Is Dreaming. “Reading is like dreaming with our eyes wide open”, a quote from yours truly. We read and dream of fairies perched on the moon or hidden in our gardens. Or we imagine ourselves as the main character Azalea pictured on this card—above the trees sitting on the moon. We believe the words in a book if only for the short time we are “dreaming with our eyes wide open.” We see images and we imagine the stories we could write.
