Reading Is Dreaming

 Reading Is Dreaming.    “Reading is like dreaming with our eyes wide open”, a quote from yours truly.  We read and dream of fairies perched on the moon or  hidden in our gardens.   Or we imagine ourselves as the main character Azalea pictured on this card—above the trees sitting on the moon.  We believe the words in a book if only for the short time we are “dreaming with our eyes wide open.”  We see images and we imagine the stories we could write.  Tune in tomorrow for the new Book Release and prepare to dream.

The Sparkle Fairies

 kReN@afourthlife here to share projects using Fairy Hugs Stamps from the fairystamper.com because it’s my favorite thing to do on Fridays.  A friend requested a card for a “tween” granddaughter, and, of course, it had to have a fairy.   I placed silver embossed Moana and Azalea on metallic moons against my watercolored  galaxy background.  I wish you could see all the sparkle and shine!   She loved them both.  Which do you prefer?

Moana and Spinner in the Moonlight

 Hello, friends!  It's kReN@afourthlife. It's Fairy Hugs Friday and today I am using FHS-005 Spinner and FHS-074 Moana .  They are having a moonlight chat.  Spinner will give Moana a kiss on the cheek before he dives into the water again.

I used ink blending with a digital image of a cliff, water, and night sky.  A few stars and a word die cut completed the card.

Dreaming of Summer

 Hello, friends.  It's kReN@afourthlife and it's Fairy Hugs Friday.  It's my day to share the wonderful images from Fairy Hugs and the Fairy Stamper Store.  

Today I have a card with Azalea FHS-041, one of my favorite fairies.  She's sitting in a tree daydreaming of future summer days. 

I used a willow tree die cut and added another branch for her to perch on.  I set the die cut against a print from my gel press and used some shimmer paint so it just glistens in all its colorful glory.  I popped Azalea up and double heat embossed her with clear embossing powder and she shines too.  Adding the die cut sentiment finished off the card.
