Oh the Places You Will Go

Hello, friends.

Have I ever told you I love gators?I love QKR gators.

As an ex-teacher I love graduations.  The ceremony is so symbolic of so much accomplished and promise of wonderful things to come.  So here's the first of a series of
graduation cards using QKR gators.

Congratulations to all those munchkins who
are about to graduate!   I salute all the hard
work that brought you to this point.  I wish you
much success in all you choose to do.

I will enter my project at the QKR Challenge this week.

Blue with Black and White

We're focusing on three colors this week on the
MFPSS Blog Challenge:  blue, black, and white
I love trees--with or without leaves--
so I chose a wintery image --Chill in the Air--for you today
and kept with a CAS theme.
Hope you can see the snow in the image.
As I am uploading this, it is hot and humid in Florida
and I find myself wishing for some winter weather.
Use our colors and join us!

*Note:  As I am seeing this post, we are having cooler
temperatures in Florida.  Yippee!

Acrylic Block Stamping

Using your acrylic blocks for applying ink
for a background will create a unique look for our cards.
I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks for use with the Pears set from MFPSS.
Stamp with acrylic blocks and join us for this week's challenge
on the MFPSS Blog.
Beware!  This "new-to-me" technique is addicting!
