Tutorial Time at Speedy TV has us brushing on ink in stripes. It's a lovely way to add subtle color to a background or image and I enjoyed trying it. My challenge to myself was to use a new embossing folder and border punch, and a stamp from my Spring Inspiration Station. So I chose a pansy collage that I hadn't used in quite awhile that requires adding color with alc markers and pencils after heat embossing. I brushed the inks onto the background layer as well as the stamped layer, used the new punch, and framed the pansy image. I love the colors purple and green together and I'm thinking of spring even though we're having a cold front in Florida. This card will also be entered into a challenge at Victorine Original Stamps, My Time to Craft Challenge, the All Sorts, and the One Stop Craft Challenge blogs.
