Are you having some signs of spring in your area? Even if you aren't, you can make a card for the FOSTV using spring colors and brighten your day. Here's my card using the Easter Scene sentiment that I just love.
It's Monday and we can get your week off to a good start with a challenge from FOSTV. This week's theme is "under the sea"--easy peasy. Get out those stamps and have some fishy fun.
Make your own flowers and join us at the Friends of Speedy TV challenge this week. I chose quilling for my flowers and added a sentiment from the Roses set. Won't you join us?
Try a new shape card for this weeks Friends of Speedy TV. Be inspired and create a card in the shape of a triangle. Here's mine. Although this may have a different name, when I look at it, it creates 2 triangles so that makes it twice as good as a triangle, right? Anyway, be sure to join us for triangular fun this week!
Divide the world into halves--tp scrunched or folded, tp roll going over or under, toothpaste pressed at the end or middle, numbers or words. I'm a "words" girl. But this card's theme is numbers so sewing came to mind. You can divide the world like that too--people who can't thread a needle and those who can make a whole outfit--and all the levels in the middle. I used to sew but now I make sewing-themed or quilt cards for fun and never have to worry about the machine's tension or threading that hole that seems to get smaller and smaller as the years pass. Come and join us at the Friends of Speedy TV challenge this week and use numbers!
Easter is just around the corner. Are you thinking bunnies, chicks, and pastel colors? FOSTV this week is asking you to make an Easter card. Won't you join us this week? Is there really any reason you can't enter our challenge? If you need an excuse, take out something from your stash. I needed an excuse to use my new die from Heartfelt Creations.
The Friends of Speedy TV challenge this week is to make a diamond fold card. We have a tutorial to help you with this nifty, fancy fold card. It's easier than you think.
