A Star Calendar

Hello, Friends.  I've been meaning to share a project that I made recently.  It's called a star calendar and I just love that it can sit on my desk and be in view at all times.  I had fun decorating each page with die cuts in a theme for each month.  Here are some photos of the pages using some of my favorite dies from Spellbinders, Impression Obsession, MTK, Provocraft, Lawn Fawn, MFT, X Cut and many more brands of die cuts.

It is very easy to assemble.  Create 6 A2-sized card blanks, glue the back of one to the front of another and continue until you have created this star shape.  Now decorate each of the adjacent pages with designer paper, photos, calendar pages, or anything else you choose.  There are examples of this project out there but here is one at Chattering Robins.  Hope you enjoying making your own!

How've You Bean?

Hello, Friends.    Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop time!   Today I am featuring tiny cardinal dies from Impression Obsession  that I added to the wreath card stock here and there.  I nestled their coffee cup die in the corner for more red accents. The Fiskars Stamp Latte Love stamp set provided the sentiment and Sweet n Sassy's scallop border die was used.  Love that pleat or drapery fold, don't you?

A.M. Coffee Makes Me Smile

your Impression Obsessions dies are on your work table...
Well, you know what you do!
Grab from that wonderful homemade designer paper you made previously,

Look what I came up with...
And won't my cat-loving friend be tickled lavender!

Winter Hugs

What's in your stash?
Making your own background paper is easy.
For this card, I painted card stock with acrylic paints in colors that fit my mood.
Then when dry, I dry brushed gesso on top to mute the colors.
I keep a collection of these  in my designer paper tray
ready for a card at any time.

I wanted a winter card with one of these backgrounds
so I pulled out my Impression Obsession dies
and am embossed card stock card stock quarter from my stash.
The sequins were a gift from K. Werner from a blog hop.
They were the perfect colors for this card.  Thanks Kristina!

I love the subtle colors but couldn't resist a bolder card blank.

Thanks for stopping by!

Winter Birthday

It's time to add to the birthday card stack.
Today I am using Impression Obsession dies to create my card.
I added some loose glitter to the branches of the fir trees and
a star for the dot of the "i" for a little more bling.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Spring!

I love dies.  They create such a clear graphic element to any design.  I've decided to share my project at the  Impression Obsession blog challenge.   This die reminds me of the bike I had as a child.

My card today uses some of my IO favorites--the bicycle and the hello sentiment.  Because I love pink and green as a color combo, that was my first choice.

I will also share my project with:

Spring Colors--Spring has Sprung

Are you having some signs of spring in your area?  Even if you aren't, you can make a card for the FOSTV using spring colors and brighten your day.  Here's my card using the Easter Scene sentiment that I just love.

Dog and Butterflies

Who let the dogs out!  That's our theme for this week at the Speedy Fox and Friends challenge on the MFP blog site.  This dog is outside the fence but is enjoying the butterfly tree in the spring sunshine.  One couldn't resist landing on his nose!

Have you joined our blog site yet?  We moved from the old one and you may not have signed up again to follow us.

Animals--and especially dogs-- are a fun theme and here's my card!
