It's Monday and time to share a project for the PIP Challenge.  Our sponsor this week is Varada Sharma and I am using the Comforting Thoughts stamp set.  This is the perfect set for me because I love "all things daisy."  I printed the digital image on vellum and colored the back with alcohol markers. I mounted it on an ink-blended striped sheet.

Bugaboo Stamps has so many cute images and with the theme

of butterflies, it was easy to choose from many images.

I created my own background plaid using a technique of wrapping rubber bands around a clear acrylic block and used two colors to make the plaid.  Using the same colors on the image pulls it all together.

Today we are using StarStampz and the image is called Goldfish Fishing.

To create the background, I scribbled crayons in stripes, heated the

stripes slightly with the heat gun, and wiped a paper towel to smooth out the color.

I just love these flowers and the sentiments in the set are so versatile.

I have used the Pretty Posies set  over and over.

I watercolored the background paper and then two sets of the flowers.  I stamped the leaves directly on the paper and then fussy cut the flowers and popped them up.  A friend is having knee surgery in May so this card is going postal shortly.

PIP 2102 Winter Blessings

 We're off to a running start for 2021 with the PIP Challenges.  We hope you will join us this year for fun and creativity.  

Our sponsor this week is the Cutting Cafe.  You can find all their wonderful designs HERE.  I'm using the Mitten Shaped Card.  Using a shape card creates  an instant wow factor to your project.  I created the shape with snowflake card stock and then embossed sentiments on top.  Just a little baker's twine and my card came together.
