Orchid

Hello, friends. I'm using a Jan Mayhew Digital Stamp image called Orchid for this week's PIP Challenge. I took out my metallic eye shadows and used them like chalks to color the image. Bold images are to color with chalks because you don't have to be as exact. Join us this week, won't you?

Hello, Friends! Just sharing a get well card I made recently.

A dear friend just had knee replacement surgery and I was in the mood to use chalks so I cut this die and sentiment and had some relaxing fun.

I know she will like it!

A Tree in the Breeze

Hello, Friends. The Friends DT was challenged this week to create a scene. I love this Fall Tree set from Flourishes lc and I thought of it right away. I did a little digital magic and removed a pumpkin that was at the base of the tree so the image would be more spring or summer-like. I used chalks for the sky, leaves, and ground under the tree. I added the small bird images from the Winter Birds set. The sentiments are from Fuji Mums and Fall Tree.

I think these will be wonderful masculine cards, but I added three different sentiments in case another occasion came up.

Let's Hear It For the Girls

Just For Fun Stamps is having a May challenge titled "Let's Hear It For the Girls" so you can expect lots of wonderful female-oriented inspiration from the design team.

So here is my inspiration card for you today. My mother was quite a seamstress and when I was growing up, all my clothes came from her loving hands. This stamp image reminds me of those days.

I'm imagining a little girl, anticipating her birthday party, and her mother brings her the party dress she has been wishing for. Can you guess her favorite colors?

I wish you would join us for our challenge this month. Anything that you think says female, feminine, girly girl, girl power....you get the idea!
