Out For a Ride with BKRS

Hello, my dear friends!  It's your TGIF girl!
It's time to share a project for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
My card uses the Cowgirl Cowboy set and a background using
my new passion, the Gelli Plate.

Here is a project for your enjoyment.

Fun Tips:  Add small dots of acrylic paint where you want blue sky, green grass, gray mountains, white clouds.  Brayer color across.  Add details with paint brush.  Use a round sponge to add a yellow sun.  Stamp image in foreground using MISTI and archival ink.

I will share my project with:  Word Art Wednesday Challenge Blog

Holiday Magic

Hello, Friends.  It's kReN here again to share
a JFF Stamps card with you.

It's time for you to enter our
Christmas in July challenge.

See you there!

I created a special designer paper background by
dry brushing purple, pink, and blue and green
Twinkling H20's and acrylic paints on white card stock.
Oh, the shine!
My photographer husband could capture it,
but, alas, I could not.
I stamped the Stamptangle Pattern Block onto
white card stock with black ink. Then I painted it with
Twinkling H20's in sections and die cut
ornament shapes with dies.
I used Holiday Magic from UMS 7020 as my sentiment because
in person, the glitter and shine is truly magical!

From Our House to Yours

Hello, Friends!  It's another wonderful Wednesday
and I have a Valentine's Day card that turned into a birthday card.
I was thinking VDay when I started,
but then wanted it to send it to a friend for his birthday.

I love these house images from JFF Stamps
and I combined them with some original designer paper that I have shown you before.  The gesso top coat reminds me a little of a snowstorm
and since many of you are having a real winter,
I thought I would send you a little color with the imaginary snowstorm.

This card idea can be used for a new home, new baby,
and anytime you want to send a little love to someone.

Fall Leaves

Hello, Friends!  It's Kren here.
Thanks for stopping by A Fourth Life
so I can share cards created with Just For Fun Stamps.

Today I am going to share cards using Stamptangle images
Elm Leaf  D3858,
Oak Leaf F3859, and
Maple Leaf E3860.
You know how I love leaves.

It all started with an acrylic background of multiple colors of paint, swiped onto card stock.  Then I dry brushed the paper with gesso to mute and soften the colors.  Here is a close up of one of the backgrounds.

Then I heat embossed the leaves and some extra card stock with either white embossing powder or granite ep.  I colored the leaves with Twinkling H20's.
And here is how the cards turned out.

I love to make my own background papers and you might want
to try swiping some  acrylics too.

Check out the JFFStamps blog to see what other projects might inspire you!
