BKRS Glittery Snowy Village

Hello, my dear friends!
It's time to share a project for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
This month, we are focusing on the winter holidays.

For my projects this month, I will be using
Heidi's Tree, Snowy Village, and Come Let Us Adore Him.
Today I am using Snowy Village.
along with card stock and papers from LCI Paper.

This card uses an interesting technique called the Dryer Sheet Technique.
Color your image with vivid colors. I used Chameleon Color Tone Pens for this one.
Run your image, face down, through a Xyron machine so the image side will be sticky.
Place a used dryer sheet on top and flatten down.
Sprinkle with fine glitter and rub it into the dryer sheet.
Tap off excess glitter and complete the card.

So sparkly!

IT Lighthouse

Hello, friends.  Today I have on my GDT sun hat!  Summer is a time for beach and nautical cards.  Today I have a nautical card for you using Lighthouse from Imagine That Digistamp.  I hand-colored the image with Chameleon markers and used papers from a recent magazine bumper.  Who can resist polka dots?  Not me!  Hope you enjoy it!

Super Stampendous

Hello, Friends.  I love flowers;  I love mason jars;  I love flowers in mason jars.  Go figure that I would fall in love with stamp sets that have mason jars with flowers.  I can't seem to get enough of them to the point that I am afraid I am bordering on addiction.  Along comes Stampendous with these great sets with mason jars!  Thanks, Fran!

You can expect to see more cards made with these sets soon, but here is my first one using Bouquet for You. I love to add the SSS hugs die cut to many of my cards because they seem to fit every occasion these days. Hugs seems to say it all!  As they say, choose your paper and then let your colors follow its lead so I chose a spring plaid.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Flourishes Thistle Make You Smile For Sure

Hello, Friends!  It's Kren here and I'm sharing a new release image from Flourisheslc.com. This set is all about puns and thistles.  I challenged myself to use one layer and to go "all digital" with the card.  Using the digital images allowed me to do some easy mirror stamping with the images. I was able to flip images horizontally and vertically to get the effect I wanted to achieve.  I just sneaked in the sentiments where I thought they would be eye-catching.  The card ended up being a 5" x 5" card, another unusual feature for me. Tell me what you think.  It was so much fun to experiment!  Be sure to click on my team's links in the sidebar to see all their gorgeous projects!

Winter Bouquet

Hello, Friends!  It's Kren here with a card to share using a set called Winter Bouquet.  I challenged the Friends Design Team members to use "shimmer and shine."   The metallic embossed paper is satin finish and adds a soft glow to the card.  Because I love the look of vellum colored with alcohol markers, I applied the brighter colors on the back of the vellum and the colors soften a bit more for a special look.  Adding a slightly larger flower frame shape adds more to the bouquet theme.  The sentiment on vellum creates another soft layer and a few sequins continue the shimmer and shine theme.

Supplies:  Flourishes lc Winter Bouquet
Other supplies:  DCWV Metallic Stack, sequins,

Now it's time to visit the Friends DT blogs and see what they have created with the "shimmer and shine" theme:  DaviGloriaKren (That's me), ShirleyToniVickie

Do you follow me?  Have you become a follower of the Flourishes site?  Now is the time!
